Two Evac+Chairs have been installed at The Spinnaker Tower

The Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth is 170m high and the Tower's public viewing decks, which are 100m above ground, are accessed by two lifts. The lifts cannot be used in the event of a fire, so a solution had to be in place that could evacuate mobility impaired visitors down the 100m staircase and that would comply with the DDA and Regulatory Reform Order. Two Evac+Chairs have since been manufactured, supplied and installed by Evac+Chair International.
