The Jubliee Sailing Trust is to receive a substantial donation from this year's property and construction industry regatta
The organisers of the Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC) are to present the Jubilee Sailing Trust with a substantial donation at next week's Earls Court Boat Show that will help the
charity to continue its life changing work. The event is organised by a team of volunteers, the Little Britain Challenge Cup Committee who work in the property and construction industry. LBCC Chairman for 2010, David Smith will present a cheque to JST vice patron and television presenter, Peter Snow.
Amanda Butcher the chief executive of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, said: “The Little Britain Challenge Cup is one of countries most prestigious regattas and this is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the LBCC organisation Committee.”
“Every year the LBCC Committee succeeds in delivering an amazing sailing regatta and raising tens of thousands for charities like the Jubilee Sailing Trust. We are extremely grateful to everyone one who has been involved in with the LBCC and for all their support that they continue to give to the JST.”
The LBCC Committee will also present cheques to – Cirdan Sailing Trust, the Ellen MacArthur Trust and representatives of the Skandia Team GBR Paralympic Sailing Team. The cheque presentation will be taking place at the Main Stage at the Earls Court Boat Show on Wednesday 26 November 2008.
